Since 2005, Live the Language has offered after-school Spanish and weekend immersion classes from September though May.
At Live the Language classes our main goal throughout the school year is that our students take ownership of what they learn in Spanish and use it in their everyday lives. Our students’ language acquisition doesn’t end when our classes end, but continues to be nurtured at home through the music CDs, recorded readings, recorded oral exercises and written materials students bring home. We encourage parents to learn and/or practice Spanish with their children.
By taking and following Live the Language weekend immersion program, children can speak and communicate in Spanish at a basic level within a year. Our immersion programs are thoroughly interactive and personalized, and our students attain fluency because they are learning and speaking in realistic situations.
Give your children the opportunity to immerse themselves in the Spanish language by registering them in one of our programs. During this time, children practice yoga, have an interactive cooking class, sing popular songs, read stories, play games, perform theatrical skits, have drawing and writing activities in Spanish, and much more! Delicious freshly prepared lunch is included.
Our weekend immersion program takes place at our home in Cherry Creek in South Austin, Sundays, 10:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. Classes start on Sunday, October 2nd. Download our registration packet.

At Live the Language's after-school Spanish Program, we strive to create a FUN and RELAXED environment while engaging your child after a long school day. We take a holistic approach to teaching Spanish by motivating our students to live the language through our class activities: salutations, snack time, games, readings, and oral practice.
Live the Language after-school Spanish program takes place at St, Mark’s Episcopal Church In the South Austin neighborhood of Barton Hills, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 3:00-4:15 p.m. and Fridays 3:00-4:30 p.m.
Please consider giving your children the gift of a second language. We hope Live the Language can help you give this gift to them.
Because our programs are offered to a maximum of 8 students, please reserve your child's space as early as possible.
